Skip the set menus and booking races at restaurants and the competition for cinema tickets, and immerse yourself in the enthralling life story of Mexico’s most famous artist, at Frida Kahlo: The Life of an Icon.

The experience is open until 9pm from Tuesday to Saturday, and you should allocate at least 60 to 90 minutes to explore the nine rooms of 360º projections, holography and a virtual reality film transporting you inside Kahlo’s home and mind.

After exploring the exhibition, cap your evening off with spicy margaritas and tacos in the Cantina, or visit nearby Festival Feasts partner Henry Deane at Hotel Palisade to enjoy the $55pp five course tasting banquet curated by Head Chef Cian Mulholland (NB: if you want to book the Festival Feasts package at Henry Deane, you must do it 24 hours in advance).
