The City of Parramatta Library and six branch libraries offer a place for locals to enjoy books, CDs, DVDs and a wide range of services and events every week ranging from activities for children, talks by well-known authors, computer classes, ESL classes, workshops and much more. You can join the library for free and membership is open to all NSW residents.

Parramatta Library is wheelchair accessible. Lifts can be accessed via the lobby off 1-3 Fitzwilliam Street, Parramatta. The closest train station with wheelchair access is Parramatta Station, approximately 2 minutes from to the library. Taxis can drop passengers off at 1-3 Fitzwilliam Street for access to the building.
